Soon to get the new Octavian Plus - How do I use it and use it well? What settings and how do you use yours?

I don't know what controls are on an Octavian + specifically but generally speaking, if you're using a strat, you'll probably find that the neck pickup gives you the best "classic octavia" tone. I have three octave boxes - Way huge purple platypus, Fulltone ultimate octave, and a Menatone o-ring - they're all 'at their best' so to speak when I'm on the neck pup above the 12th fret. Having said that, the platypus does some really cool things down low and the o-ring has a ring modulator circuit in it so it'll freak out anywhere depending on how it's set. I think Carlyguitar has a lot of Octavia...esque experience. Hopefully he'll chime in for you.

Not sure on the new one, but I got the Octavian. For the purest octave, keep the fuzz/octave knob dial down....usually off.
With a clean sound this is the purest octave and before a fuzz it will get the Jimi sounds. Then experiment from there.
