Does anyone have any experience with these. They are very competitively priced and seem to get excellent reviews.

Yes, I've had some dealings with Pete over at Vintage Vibe. Real nice guy & knows tone! He has wound me some excellent pickups: P-90's(best I've ever heard), Tri-Sonics, humbuckers. He also makes some Charlie Christian-style pickups that are just too damn cool. His turn-around times are quicker than most people selling off-the-shelf items.

Of all the pickup guys out there right now, Pete is tops in my book.

First off, a quick correction on the name, Vintage Vibe not Vibes.

Got a set of humbucker sized P-90s for a Les Paul. A bladed (Charlie Christian) one at the neck and a regular one at the bridge.

I don't have a set of P-90s on hand to compare with but in terms of the sound quality these are up with the Kinman's and TV Jones's I have in two other guitars.

Good to deal with, fast turn around and very helpful. Some cool features on the pickups such as shielding of the casing and easily interchangeable magnets (Alnico II, III, V and Ceramic)to allow further tweaking.

The bladed P-90 in the neck is excellent for cleaner sounds and really does justice to finger -style playing. The centre position is hum cancelling and also sounds great, a really nice blend, and of course classic P-90 at the bridge.

As I don't have actual P-90s on hand to do a comparison with I can't really offer any commentary on whether the different dimensions of a humbucker affect the overall sound vs. an actual P-90.

I know that BG Pups offer a proper humbucker-size P-90 but I can't say if this is the case with these Vintage Vibe's. Anyways, great sounding pickups, competitively priced and great service.
