Wow I forgot how good this pedal is, Just got it today and tested it out. Nice fat chorus and dead quiet even with distortion and killer Leslie sim.

It's definitely another keeper!

Carl do you still use the Lovepedal Black Magic, How is the low end on that pedal also is it strictly high gain distortion or can you get tammer tones as well!

I have a Lovepedal Burner Distortion kicking around it has a great distorted tone but lacks a little low end I wish it had a tone control on it!

Hey Carl what is a Mesusa?
Sorry man but I am too lazy to do a google seach on it Big Grin

I have not heard the AM Chorus but I hear it's really a quality piece.

Anybody make any clips of the mesusa and AM Chorus that we can hear? Confused

Thanks

George

Yes! The AM Clone Chorus is definately my fave - got me to sell my Choralflange. It's chewy and delicious. Did you also get the 3-way toggle on it?

George, not sure if you were being sarcastic, but Carl's post was a typo I think.

I think he was referring to the Red Witch Medusa Confused

I still got it. It's a fave. You can get tamer with it, but it's not a pedal with a lot of low end. It has a mid spike that could cut thru a band easy. There are clips on my page.
I run it full gain and use the guitar volume. Great pedal for that.

Ahh, OK

Got to hear the RW Phaser and that pedal was a really nice pedal. Smile

I thought the Fulltone Choral Flange sounded really good to so Ben C. replacing it with the AM pedal has got me gassing for one. Actually I have wanted one for awhile now an it looks like a winner for sure.

Thanks Troy for the clarification as I was in the dark there and thought there might have been something I had not heard of. No, in the past I was busting Carl's nuts in an attempt to get him out of the house and on the stage, where he belongs, but I have totally given up on that quest.

Sorry Carl! (for busting your nuts) Smile

I have the AM Clone with the 3 way tone switch and stereo options. My short review is that it's the "Best to my ears" chorus out there soundwise. It also looks cool on my board. One thing that worries me is the switch. to get Stereo AM puts in a 4 pole switch that is not as sturdy "feeling" as the 3 pole on most every other pedal I'd love to find a better switch to ease my worries. Even with the speed and depth turned down I get a different, better clean tone.

Tone... The final frontier.

Another AM CC fan here. I have the straight up version and it just rocks. It's very organic and kinda wierd. Carl is right, there can be a bit of a mid slice sometimes. But it's beautiful. I get this crazy sound with both knobs at 12, through the echoczar and rv5, on the neck pu of my SG with the tone rolled all the way down. It's this bizarre detuned, almost synthy like thing. I use it when i don't have my EH microsynth on my board.

No mid slice on the Clone. I was answering about the Lovepedal Black Magic distortion. THAT HAS mid slice!!

I've heard good things about the retrosonic and was considering it. A negative for me was to avoid a pedal that needs to to use a AC adaptor which the Retrosonic needs but anyway the Anolog Man is awesome with just 2 controls and runs off Battery or 9V jack and very lush chorus.

i know ill love it too! ive tried em' many times, but never took the plunge. i got one at a *great* used price. although there are many great sounding chorus' on the market, i really feel like the analogman has a really nice organic quality to it...i havent really been able to find that "shimmer" in other chorus's
