Lately I've picked up 3 of those Electro Harmonix tube pedals. A couple of Hot Tubes and an English Muff'n. The Hot Tubes sounds aweful and The English Muff'n is ok but could use some tweaking. These things are light weight and have high voltages on the tubes plates. I have modded a lot of Tube amps and have gotten some great reviews from gigging Musicians on My tweaks. I have a pretty good understanding of tube circuits so I should be able to get these up to boutique specs soon. The Hot Tubes looks like it would be fairly easy to get a "Traincrash" or even a "D*mble" preamp circuit in there. The E.M. is very close to a JCM 800. Just a few tweaks should do it.
If Any of You could do this what would want it to sound like? With the E.M. I'm going to shoot for an early EVH tone.

yeah i was a bit hyped about the english muffn when it first came out but when i tried it my reaction was a bit different, didnt really care for it.
