I had to work away from home for 8 months this year, and I loaned my gear out to my best friend. I picked up a Hamer Newport because someone robbed the Les Paul from said buddy's house, but I only ever got to play it through solid state; my small acoustic amp or the PA at church. Got the Allen Tonesavor back today...

Aaaahhhh. That's juicy. So much more musical, and this awesome guitar shines through when I plug straight in. What fun! I am spoiled, spoiled, spoiled. At least I'm going to have more fun when working on chops now.
