THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Just tried it... man a time saver compared to what I was doing. Have a few things I'd like improved/added but since the programmer is so keen on feedback I sent him some for a future upgrade.

Perfect tool to have as a teacher, I'll link to this thread in the Guitar lessons forum.

I was thinking of you, when I posted it. I knew you had been "rolling your own", for quite some time.

I am the author of the QuickChord program, and I noticed alot of traffic coming onto my site from this forum.

Over the last year I have made alot of changes to the program based on feedback I get from people using it, so I invite everyone to email me with any ideas and suggestions you might have. My email address is in the application, and on the website.

Great forum here, and thanks again!

Lonnie:

Thats a great little program. How about something similar, but just a bigger fretboard for use in diagraming and exchanging ideas on scales, etc.? You wouldn't have to incorporate anything that determines what scale was input, but just allow the user to enter some name at the top if desired. This would be a great way to jot down ideas, and to share them on forums like this one.

Much more easier with this Big Grin

Stumble on that progression after playing Beethoven -Fur Elise earlier tonight(Guitar World tabbed a fingerstyle version recently).
