I'd like some advice on the best battery powered amps out there. I'm currently using a Danelectro Honeytone, which I liked better than the Pignose. Maybe I would prefer the Pignose with a Tube Overdrive pedal out front?

Buy a Roland Micro Cube. They sound great.

Great practice amp, I also love it for teaching.

Effects in there are surely not the best but for what it is... GREAT I mostly use the delay in mine but I do use the VIBE & Trem once in a while for fooling around with ides... great little amp. The TAP feature is handy and a nice touch in such a small package. Really easy to use.

Never really used it but there's an AUX in for outside music (mp3,cds..) and a MIC input should you need one.
