Anyone know what gear was used on this recording for the guitars and bass. Nice fuzzy tones and the bass sounds like it was picked instead of using fingers and some od or fuzz was used on it also.

My guess is Orange amps cranked with a tele or some p90 equiped guitar. Then again maybe some good fuzz pedals...

I don't know the answer, but I do know that those guys aren't gear snobs at all. They do use Marshalls, Oranges, Voxes, Top Hats, etc., but they'll also record with Line 6 Flextones, modeling pedals, Tech 21 Trademark amps, the PSA-1, DOD pedals... whatever gets a tone that works in the song. They said in an interview that a surprising number of the guitar tones on Aztlan were recorded direct....
