I'm not sure if this has been done before but i thought it would be interesting to know what you guys hate spending money on that has to do with guitars.

The only thing I hate spending money on is expensive stuff like pedals that are packed with cool features and have great sounds, but after a year or two of moderate gigging are starting to develop some reliability issues. I've been thinking about going with all BOSS pedals. Not because they have the best sounds, but because I have never had one break on me or even be a little weird. I've had my boss tuner for 10 or 12 years bouncing around in a bag most of the time, and it still works perfectly. This can't be said for some recent purchases that have lately been acting strangely.

Usually though ya get what you pay for! Buy good cables and a universal power supply and a pedalboard and you will save money and time!

Coated strings are awesome provided you or your guitar are not string breakers.

I do lose picks all the time. I also give them away to fans and students so I buy them anytime I am in a music store. I probably don't spend more than $30-40 a year on them though.
