Check out his videos. They demonstrate very well the AC and RC Boost.

What a lovely tone!

I love the intro on this one up there, sweet fender tone at its best. Especially when it's Allen Hinds playing. Wink

Overall, love his style. Nice tone with the AC at the end too.

Nice tone with the Les Paul as well. This videos show the tone of the AC very well I think. Nice fusiony sound on the Les Paul around the middle of the video.

Anyway, just wanting to share this Allen Hinds section to those who haven't seen this vids yet.

I'm gonna look up some more Allen Hinds for sure. Seems like his music could be up my alley. Anyone had a CD from him, or knows more about him?

Thanks for sharing that site. Jeez, he gets that violin tone effortlessly. The AC sounds exactly like a cranked up amp -- very impressive.

These clips do two things to me: (1) they make me want to buy the pedals; (2) they remind me of how incompetent I am as a player. I may not be able to do much about #2, but at least I can buy the pedals Big Grin .

Regards,

Harris

Those really show the xotic pedals well.

I am thinking of putting a small board together with those and one other much more rough, marshally sounding pedal to use with a small amp for jams with friends.

It would be nice if they would stack well also.

Anyone have suggestions for that pedal to get a rougher marshalleque sound? Something with good sustain for lead work.

Felken....

I'd suggest a Barber DD, with some low end, and presence mods, (or the DDSS) Has a great Marshall crunch sound.

That might be the ticket, had a dd, did not like the lack of low end.

How does the DDSS do for singing leads ala Satriani etc...with humbuckers
