I spent about half an hour with a 100W Fuchs Overdrive Supreme Head and 2x12" Fuchs cab (specially made Emin. speaker in the EV/FANE/Allen mold).
Many reviewer's of the amp claim it to be a Dumble like clone. While I never have played a Dumble one of my fav records (Larry Carlton's Last Night) employed a Dumble showing the amps strengths.
I just couldn't run the thing the way I wanted as 100W is way too much power for me or the test room at the store. I could determine that it does sound great and has the Dumble mojo.
Has anyone here given these amps a go? Own one? etc... They offer 30W (my speed) and 50W versions. I'd like to hear some opinions on any version but would like to hear from those who tired/owns the 30 W version.
