With spinning horn on top and rotor on bottom. Man oh man oh man oh man! I sure hope it will nail that British Leslie Guitar sound.

I'd love to hear that too, but I think there would be a larger market for a seperate speaker without the built in amp, so that one can connect any amp to it.. Well I could never bring a huge leslie to the gigs I play so I'll move over to a nice phaser or so, too bad.

Seems like they have this covered, from the article:

"If [sic] wish to have all the features of the G-37 but would like to use your own guitar amp, then you can order the G-27, which has all of the features of the G-37, but without the 100 watt amp."

Sounds great to me! Can't wait to hear from those who try this ASAP...

Yeah, I think it would be the model G27 I'd be interested in. I like the Gaspedal option (hey Teddy you still own the trademark on that?) where you get continous real-time control over the speed. I also dig the fact that when you stop it, the rotors are designed to stop facing forward! Gggggaaassss!!!

Very cool GTRman!

Yeah, I too was thinking about the passive G-27 when I first saw it but I bet if you used you guitar amp to power it you will have a large drop in volume when you kick the Leslie in. I had tried this before with the Motion Sound product and a separate power amp is probably the better way to go, in my opinion at least, to keep a unity gain in volume. The Bass Rotor probably takes a bunch of juice to run, kind of like a sub woofer would in a home theater setup.

So who is getting one first? Smile

regards,
George

I had the Motion Sound as well, and like you noticed the volume drop. I couldn't get past that, and the overall dark tone it had. I never did do the rotor modification they suggest on their website, that is supposed to help with both of the above problems. Still, there's now way a single rotor can sound like a rotating horn/rotor combo. I really want to hear this thing!
