Hi

What is more practical the pedal train pro or a piece of ply and a separate bag for a pedal board.

Has anyone had issues with the internal pedaltrain board with heavy use?

Is it worth the pedaltrain worth the money?

What is your practical experience on gigs and after periods of long use.

I have voodoo labs power supply and 8 pedals.

Depending on how big those pedals are you might do well with the PT 2 instead. I have 14 pedals on my Pedaltrain Pro including a POG and a KLON which are not the smallest boxes around, If I were only running 8 I'd downsize to the PT 2, and still probably have room for another pedal or 2 down the road. They're nice pedalboads.

I think the Pedaltrains are great. I especially like the fact that you can mount a Pedal Power underneath. The are also very sturdy. I have a Jr, and a PT-2 with gig bags for both. I used to have a Pro with the anvil case, but that thing was a BEAST! The case was way to big and heavy for me.

I don't think you can go wrong with the PT stuff.

Solid...love it...gigged with it for 3 yrs now with the only issue being the handles on the soft case...needle and thread fixes it right up though!

I have two earlier pedaltrains and a recent PT2 HC, so obviously I like them (though the PT2 HC in its road case is frickin' HUGE). Thinking about getting rid of the older ones and getting a new JR SC for smaller gigs, band practice, etc. The nice thing about the new ones is that they come with mounting hardware for a PP2, and are drilled out in the front to accomodate the power cord.
