I play a Fernandes Vertigo Elite and the now discontinued Decade Model. I'm very pleased with both.

As far as sound equipment goes... my band plays with the same couple other bands 99% of the time, and we use their PA. But we use our own guitar amps, and I'm very pleased with my Crate dx-212. 100 watts, and a whole bunch of FX.
