For my first post, I thought I would start off by saying that until a few short weeks ago, I was a Les Paul Burst, Teese Picture Wah into a 100 Watt Plexi Reissue with CAE Crunch Mod kinda player. Boy has that changed. I am currently awaiting a custom built Custom Audio Electronics switching system which will be mounted in a 4 space shock rack with Juice Goose RP-100 power and a pedal drawer with the following:

1. Fulltone Octafuzz (old version)
2. Fulltone '69
3. Ibanez TS-9/Analog Man TS-808 Silver Mod/KWS package
4. Keeley Freak of the Week #2(modded Maxon OD-9- similar to Time Machine Boost)
5. Teese Picture Wah
6. Menatone Dirty Blonde
7. Fulltone Fat Boost
8. Boss TR-2 Tremolo
9. Maxon AD-900
10. Boss DD-3

All to be powered by the VL Pedal Power 2 including a custom DM Corp. Y cable to power the Fat Boost at 18V and also a Dunlop DC Brick to power the tremolo and Menatone which I will try at 18v. Apparently Bill Chapin likes the 18V power for the DB too. I am open to suggestions. I am also going to put an MXR Smart Gate in an effects loop on the plexi reissue head. The entire conglomeration will be controlled by a CAE RS-10 Foot Controller as well as a PS-1 extra loop for an audio mute/tuner out from the switcher rack. I would love to hear others thoughts on this system, sample knob settings for the various pedals and advice from others who have a CAE system. Oh, I ditched a couple of Historic Bursts in favor of a '65 Super Relic Strat and have a hybrid '60/'56/'69 Super Relic on order. Of course my 2 Rossington Signature Pauls, Dickey Betts Goldie and Faded Tobacco 2002 R8 Authentic stay. I need multiple guitars for some alt tunings- ie. open G, and half-step down. No this is not the real JP but I am a big fan. I am quite excited about receiving this system!!! Thanks.....

How long did it take for your rigs to be built by CAE ? I'm torn between doing it myself, hiring CAE or finding a guitar tech in town who can do it.
