I played a pete townshend signature SG on the weekend. I don't exactly idolize his tone (I have respect of his playing) this guitar was perfect for all the things I wanted

lite. Dark, but twangy at the same time, Very easy to play (even with 10's and a good and still action)

I bet gibson make a ton on SG's , they are way overpriced when you consider what it takes to make one .

I don't care if it's not a les paul, just as long as the wood is good and the neck is stable
