Awesome. I am thinking of embarking on a vinyl ripping project of my own. If I do it I'm gonna rent/borrow extra turntables so that I can do 4 at a time. Did you do it album by album? Also, you use any NR software? SoundForge plugin? Dart?

Tell me your story.

I recorded the albums through my stereo's tape output jacks, into a Mackie mixer, then into my soundcard and SoundForge.

For click/pop reduction I always use GrooveMechanic. It's fast and very good. Then I saved the files as 256kbps MP3s by full album side (not by individual song). Some "concept albums" (eg Thick as a Brick) I ripped as one complete 45 minute MP3, but there only a few of those.

9.67 Gigs, 245 files, 91 hours 16 minutes 49 seconds of Pure Prog Ponderousness.
