yes, it cut my hand and sucked me ass

not only was it a cheap, rubber neck'd turd, it cost the same as a MIM telecaster

the design of the 56-U2 is pretty good, just needs the right people making them. That guitar is really the ultimate in cheep ass charm

I have a danno baritone. only reason I like it is because it strengthens my fingers since the strings are fuckin' 15s and the tension is psychoticly high.

sounds exactly like a block of plywood with magnets on it would sound.

If you want a GOOD Dano try Jerry Jones.

Those sound like Beatles/Tom Petty/REM

I have played Danos and they are only good as eye

candy hanging on your wall. Too much feedback from

those pickups. . .also just too poorly made. Back

in the day you did'nt have a choice as far as

quality but now you do thank god.

This is as good as it gets?

I feel the same way everytime I see a Rickenbacker...

I want one, but I dont know why...I mean, EVERY time i see someone playin one of those things, I just roll my eyes (like this?.. Roll Eyes ) yes, just like that!

but I wont bother with a Rick...I am more a tele kinda guy, so the Rev's slingie thingie is my stichk...tho I really cant justify another guitar on any grounds whatsoever, other than extreme materialism...the "I want..." crap... Frown

btw, how you hangin' 'post D'...? better I hope.. Wink

Me and Teles don't really get along, although I really want one for some unknown reason. Maybe cos I think they're so butt fugly Eek OK well maybe I take that back. But they're not that attractive. Not like my explorer! Big Grin

I know what you mean about justifying more guitars. honestly I can't either. That's why I'm straying away from the ones I want (I want, for instance, a ESP Viper baritone (instead of my Dano bari, actually), and a ESP KH-2. I should NEVER be allowed to buy either, knowing what I'd do with them, but... so tempting.

Life after D*A***... its tough. But I'm surviving, honestly. I've had a few weeks to deal with this. Leaving her was not the problem - when you love someone you know what you've got to do sometimes for the person, and I was ok with that. I knew it'd be best for her. What the problem was is that I wasn't giving her an excuse to do what she did, I was trying to give her the ability to figure some things out for herself without having the distraction thats' provided by being loved and loving someone. If you're happy when you're with someone and you don't think about the things that are going wrong in your life, you can't sort through those things. Its not like we hadn't discussed the various things she had going on in her life, but she doesn't take advice - she'd rather ifgure shit out on her own. That's the important thing to know about her - I could tell her what I think she needs to do until I'm blue in the face but if she hasn't experienced it herself she won't do it. I understand that about her, and that's what I wanted to give her. She took that and did something else with it, and that's dissapointing. I still feel betrayed, and I know myself well enough to know that'll never go away completely, for all parties involved.

We'll see. I'm going to LA this weekend to get the fuck away from this place. Its too frustrating knowing what's going on 2 miles from me, its frustrating knowing how much I put into people and how little I got back... but I hope to be feeling better when I get back. I'll be spending time with the people who I know the most and who will (probably) not treat me the way I have been recently.

All in all, I'm being strong. Big Grin Thanks for the concern, man, serious. It means a lot!!!

I'm really longing for a black stratocaster with a maple fretboard

Like hendrix played at the isle of white

I can play all the PRS's and gibsons I want in a guitar store, but I still get goosbumps playing a high-end fender
