Well, A Vox AC30 weighs as much as a 4x12!!! I only use 18 watt Marshall type amps or my Carr HammerHead 1x12. Sounds as good if not better than all my stuff!!! Thats why I am selling nearly ALL my gear!! Call or write for a list!!

Dude...if you can't handle a little 50 watt 2x12 combo you should get a nice little "backpacker" acoustic and some nice thin picks (works better for limp wristed technique).

You think you had to carry a 175 lb. Mesa 6x10 bass cab up a flight of stairs by yourself or something (like I have had to do on several occasions).

I think you can get a solid state Peavey with an 8" speaker pretty cheap...that should be right up your alley. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
