I found a guitar pick in the park the other day. I picked it up and put it in my pocket.

When I'm playing guitar, during breaks (or when adjusting one of my many pedals), I hold my pick in my mouth.

So, how long before this "found" pick is safe to put in my mouth? Does the inside of my pocket offer enough disinfecting power?

Please advise . . .

I frequently launder mine by accident. May I suggest this method?

I have already put it in my mouth with no adverse affect. It should be safe for you to do the same.
