We had a real pigout, roasted turkey, baked ham, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes with roasted garlic and leeks, green beans (who let a vegetable in here?), sweet potatoes, real cranberries in some concoction the wife came up with, beer/wine and apple and pumkin pies with coffee later.
My sister-in-law's boss, a chemical engineer from Japan, had never been to a Thanksgiving dinner before, and doesn't speak English, but he got into it bigtime, and shot a decent game of 8 ball too, I beat him 3-0 but he was close a couple of times.
Great fun, passed out in front of the Arizona State/USC game. Who won?
We all gathered at my brother's too---deep-fried a couple turkeys and had all the trimmin's---most excellent feast!
My pillhead little sister acted the fool, then dear mother had to show her ass (figuratively speaking)---it wouldn't have been a family holiday without it
Brother & I made plans to go to the pistol range together soon.
