Like one minute I remember grunge dying out, the next minute all these bands like limp, korn and papa reach are huge.
Weird.

Did they take place over the same time period?
I think it was during my non-stop drugs and booze fest years.
Shoot, the war on drugs has been like. . . ages. . .Korn rise was around late 90s. . . seems to me that the war on drugs started with prohibition/making pot illegal which was way b4 korn

Drugs was first, for sure. The first I heard of Korn was in... shit, 94 I think. I saw this stapled together bunch of papers in a record store that caught my eye. It was newspaper clippings about Korn... lots of lame Rolling Stone-esque descriptions (Primus meets Pantera, blah blah blah), but it looked interesting. I bought their album and saw them open for Megadeth a few weeks later. Good show. I really like their first album, and their most recent one. Not so sure about the stuff in between.
