OK...Tobias would probably kill me for posting these as they are nowhere near finished or properly recorded, but I thought a few of you guys may be interested in hearing our progress.
Here's the disclaimer...the only song that has any real lyrics is Tripolia...the rest of the songs utilize some form of scat vocals that Tobias has a nack for. So these are works in progress and they don't always hit their mark. They will eventually...of this you can be sure.
We had trouble getting a good level with the mics we had to use because Tobias' voice is very dynamic. We ended up getting some distortion so don't expect a totally clean performance. Next time we will be using a compressor while we are tracking instead of after we track.
Anyway...as rough as they are I think they hint at some pretty cool things to come. Enjoy.

Well he definitely seems to fit well with what we're doing. I really am looking forward to hearing how his vocal ideas develop.
We should be up and ready to gig by the summer.

Very nice start on Tripolia. He's got some good stuff goin'. It's a bit Bono-ish and it seems he knows it and tries to keep that to a min. I could be wrong though. Very strong. I haven't gone into his lyrics yet, so......
