question, how do we isolate the drummer so he's not so damn loud, and also, how do we make him play on time :confused

Get some plexiglass screens...some clubs use these and they work great...you can even make them yourself for cheap.

Have him sleep with a metronome on while he sleeps (seriously). He could also try practicing.

If that fails kick him in the balls and tell him he's being replaced with an 808.

our second practice was fun, nobody knew any songs at all

I kept starting an stopping song, "beacause I don't know that many"

and the drummer kept skipping beats and things

we'll get better, I hope

that reminds of the time that bastard Tyler showed me F#9 on my guitar...course it was just horribly wrong, but I didnt know better...so when I whipped it out at the band practice for the band formerly known as ABLJL, Tor stopped the band, wavin' his large Popeye sized arms all about -- and then proceeded to humiliate me in front of everyone about my stupid F#9 chord mistake...Tyler was all quiet and just bubbling over with mirth at his wretched deception...he does that you know?..bubble over I mean...AND LIE ABOUT THE F#9 CHORD!!!!!!!
