do you really think that mica based Guyatone OD is gonna take you to the limit?...

mica chips have no density -- too much tonal porosity...the tone is sorta leafy and frail, like an overwashed bra on a well-endowed pair...prone to 'support issues'..

but...

I suppose if you are doing exclusively female folk music (Holly Near, Sonya Hunter, Joan Biaz, Ani DeFranco, Indigo Girls, Shawn Colvin, etc.), the mica based Guyatone OD is an excellent choice.
