I need something that sounds like the old VOX wahs, wide sweep (none of that trumpety hendrix shit, I need my toe postion to be shrill!)

???? suggestions for something I could pick up for a good used price?

whatever you get, if it isnt TB, then expect to mod it, also you'll want a power capability...wahs eat batteries (well, mine did!)..

I have owned two Vox v847's...one was a TONE sucker but had good sweep and a nice high end, tho the bottom sounded muddy and lo-fi to me...and the other was TB, but the sweep had been modded to be like a 60's crybaby, and while that may well have been the case, it was of a tone I did not care for..sounded muffled throughout the sweep, and it's sweep was too short for my liking..the TB was good though, and essential...

I saw a newer issue dunlop crybaby modded for ac power, a new fassel inductor (??), TB'd and a power on light..and I lost out on it by 3 bucks as a snipe effort! I wanted that pedal... like 95 bucks, US...

so, the stock wahs suck except for the teeses..and they are expensive...there ya go. i dont know about morleys or whammies tho, nor the 'auto' wahs...
