It was bad enough during the invasion of the SSS forum that the new regime had a clear agenda of weeding out long standing members of the community to bring in a more "professional clientele", but then they had to put that barely out of puberty ass-hat, Hacked By Chinese in charge of the political forum...a kid who's level of bias is only matched by his hypocrisy and immaturity.

Combine that with the fact they can't even keep their damn servers up for longer than a few hours at a time and it makes for the most obnoxious user experience ever.

I told Hacked to fuck off and that he was welcome to ban me permanently.

I hardly ever go there anymore. It just sucks.

It has changed, as everything does. You are right that the start of it was the SSS influx...the move from them to MF has really only been one of degrees of control...what can you do? it has the traffic!...

Dude...I'm a LONG way off from being a rockstar. But a feature article on the Toyz page might help.



The album is starting to get into regular rotation at a few stations where we just toured, which is cool, and I've had some magazines contact me to let me know they were going to be doing album reviews. Hopefully they'll say something nice.

Still...it all seems pretty daunting in terms of bringing the album to people's attention. Even if you have an album up on iTunes (ours is), you're still a little fish in a huge digital sea.

I hope to have a PR person for the next album. The PR rep we had from our label was a total wingnut who had a mental breakdown or something and completely left us hanging...so all this pre-tour stuff that was supposed to be done on our behalf was either not done or left incomplete to the point that we didn't have time to fix his fuckups.

I just got off the phone with the label president who apologized for the guy's handing of our pre-tour PR. He basically just went M.I.A. and they haven't heard from him in several weeks.

So next time I'm hiring an outside PR company.
