Hi, I work for the Guitar Center in El Cerrito, My names Ron Thomas. I interviewed a friend of the forum named:
Tyler Tracy Gerhardt for a Janitorial position, results: We were most impressed. Tracy started out the interview by illustrating some of his technique, we told him he could use any of the gear in the building and he headed straight for the Behringer Speaker Cab combos. He first started by inserting the guitar cable into the "output" of the speaker even though we told him several times it was the wrong thing to do. Man were we wrong. Tracy's tone was angelic. Comparable to a hi-hat cymbal though a ring modulator pedal. Tracy instructed us in the finer ways of amp usage, you see you start by turning down all the eq nobs except the ones that say "high". He told us this techique was taught to him by his mentor "dana" from music toys. Last thing Tracy did was order a tofu dinner in beef sauce, he proceeded to suck all the beef sauce out and left the tofu uneaten. He said he uses the tofu as deoderant for gigs but it has to age properly in the sun a few weeks. Well the interview ended shorter than we liked, cause he said he was in a hurry to see "The Passion of the Christ" a third time to support the movie and cause. But he left us with these fine words of advise. "Amps are like women....You put your COK in them." Ron "the war on tytor" |
