Funny as hell. . .I had kind of dismissed him as

"old and boring" but I had never really seen a

whole movie of his. Whats best about these

movies is they are silent so you can just read

(dialog) and watch and listen to whatever music.

how 'great' can a movie be if you aren't even really paying attention to it?...listening to Tool and dreaming of those scat images that dance in your sick and twisted mind?

I was always of a mind that silent movies would have been greatly enhanced with dismemberment scenes a la Wild Zero...just my 2 cents

I am thinking Drum Wolf woulda killed The Great Dictator with his blue bolts of death lightening...

One of my favorite actor/writer/directors. It sucks that most people, though familiar with his little tramp character, have never seen one of his films and don't know how talented he was.
