Don't worry about the things I sent...

I have something else I need your perspective on. I'll send it sometime soon.

In the mean time,,,what do you know about the benifits of shelving below 40Hz? Do you think this is a neccessity?

I don't know anything that I would consider "knowledge" about shelving below 40... sometimes I do it. I knocked a lot of shit off the low end of the cell phone mp3, mainly 'cause the cellphone's range of frequencies was not that low but the cars and trucks outside my apt sometime rumble the house that low, so it was garbage.

That's 'bout it.

Typo,

Really low frequencies take up a lot of space, don't they? I believe by shelving below 40Hz you'd be able to get more overall volume while only removing frequencies that most stereos won't be able to reproduce anyway.
