Yep...we have a friend of mine who is a really great singer and percussionist who may be joining our band and we needed to get him quasi finished versions of our demo.
Not only is this guy a great singer but he's pretty well connected too (used to drum for the Counting Crows, had Tim Alexander from Primus play drums on his solo album, etc.) which could help us along.
Anyway, Jeff said that he was going to get these mixes up on our site and take down the old ones today. I'm listening to them at home on my Bose wave radio and I have to say that over all I am quite happy with the way they came out. There's a few things I will probably change when we re-record these in a pro studio but other than that they pretty well represent what we are about (sans the ambiant transitional stuff, various electronic things and the lo-fi acoustic ditties that we will be using to tie all the songs together) I don't know how they will sound as MP3's but they shouldn't be too bad.

One of my friend's brother did some legal work on the Bowman/Crows split.
No...his name is Tobias Hawkins...and he wasn't in 3EB either...By the way...Stephen Jenkins is as big a dick in person as he appears to be in the media.

I no longer respect him as a consumer
Sorry...I got it for free when Medha and I bought our Bose entertainment system last year for Christmas. I would have probably bought the Cambridge Soundworks stuff but they weren't offering a no interest payment plan.
Anyway...the wave radio sounds fucking great. it's better than most stereo systems...for music listening I actually prefer it to my larger Bose system (which is geared more for surround movie watching). I did get the slightly bigger speraker cubes...not only were they less expensive, but they do music reproduction much better than the smaller ones.
Anyway...the Bose is far from my dream system, but for the time being it does nicely.
