I was playing some marshall stack yesterday, with a guitar that had 9's on it, and had humbuckers......and I thought "Wow! the pussification of Rock and roll is apparent in this rig!"

so I went home, played my stratocaster, strung with tens, into my very old tube amp and was like "this sounds good, almost like live at leads good, except I can make it really fuzzy too and I like that cause I can play dazed and confused"

why do people want loads of gain on their amps? especailly when you're overloading the pre-amp tubes? why waste tubes when you could just get a fucking pedal? I'm sure nobody gives a shit whether you're using a digipoo hotrod or NOS mullard 6l6's?

I only use fuzz pedals though..they seem more honest

also, you have to work to get distoriton on simple amps, none of this laid back playing...people awe at jimmy page and van halen's gear, when they should be going for their effort. This idea sure gets rid of a lot of those "fingerpicking" assholes "USE A PLECTRUM DOUCHBAG!"

I prefer my amps stock.I hate modded amps.I have a modded marshall.That i'm planning to get de-modded soon.
