a left inguinal hernia very small.

My Dr. recommended me to a surgeon who does only hernias - the "local guru" so to speak. The guy is supposed to be the best. My Dr. says laproscopic surgery has no recovery-time advantage, so I'll probably go with regular open surgery. That way they can get a good direct look at it and fix it up good. I get a little plastic-mesh patch put in there too.

I had surgery to repair a hernia on my right side 14 years ago, so I'm familiar with the procedure - shouldn't be a big deal. I'll just have to sit on the couch and watch TV for a few weeks.

I had two done by the some doctor a few years ago and he did such a bad job.They opened up again.Then I had to get them done again two years ago.That's how I met you guys.
