The sights of the devastation that Hurrucane Katrina brought is enough to break one's heart especially considering the human toll it has taken already.

I saw the f'ed up Reverend Al Sharpton blaming George Bush for FEMA not getting down there sooner to help out. He then tried to make it a race issue by saying it only took 2 days for FEMA to get help to Miami because it's Lily white.

What a fucking jerk off!
In terms of area in square miles,amount of people affected and type of damage I think Katrina requires a bit more resources wise.

I see it as human suffering and 5 days is a very long time to go without food or water. Perhaps FEMA does suck but perhaps the submerged school buses in New Orleans could have been used to evacuate those without the means. They had days to get out and the State and Local goverments both look like jack asses to me as well.

It's not a black or white issue Al it's a Human issue! Get off your fat ass and do something to help instead of trying to make things worse!

Does Al actually have a Church or is his title only for tax breaks?

I say pull his tax free status since it's obvious he is a self serving racist who is a seperatist and his power base needs it to remain that way.

Katrina proves we all need each other regardless of race, creed or color!

Now let's do what we can to help those in need.

Sorry brother but I see human suffering and not the color of their skin. Too many days before the help came for sure but to make it into a racial thing is a bunch of crap. Not only that but what is Al doing to actually help those in need down there? Doesn't look like anything. Churches accross America are putting together aid packages for the needy but evidently Al doesn't have a church but he does have a mouth piece.

Negative talk is not what anybody needs but all that the good Reverend has to offer evidently.

I am willing to bet that Dick Chaney is checking out the progress on getting the oil refineries back up and running.

September 11th is Sunday and I remember the help of others that was pitched in around here. Everyday guys getting the job done. Blue collar guys and gals. Not Corperate America or their way overly compensated CEOs. The CEOs ran like cowards accross the bridges towards home. I figure the blue collar guys and gals will be there again in the South. Thank Heavens for regular hard working people!

As a lover of the blue collar work ethic I will be putting together a powered pedalboard with a half dozen PedalworX pedals to be auctioned off to raise a few dollars to help those in need. We get enough of this and hopefully the folks that need it can get back on their feet.

Time to help and show the love of our fellow brothers and sisters.(Please!)

As far as race is concerned, I am almost positive that the mayor, the chief of police, and most of the city council is black.
The National Guard is under the control of the Governor. NOT Washington.
FEMA looks to be screwing up, for sure. But I don't think FEMA is an all white agency.

It's exactly those points that make Sharpton look like one ignorant mother fucker.

Where exactly would his power base be if racism was erradicated? It would be nice to see it gone in our life times so that we would not have to listen to the drivel of Sharpton or the leader of the KKK, for that matter.
