rig sounds great THIS morning in stereo!

I got the banzai fb2 and the Tim in line into a boss dm-2 to a sho into a fender DR (what a tone fucker) and my gibson goldtone combo..
( I won't even mention the 'fuzz' I throw at this phenom )

single coils's are fucking just puttin' out that harmonicie edge on the treble side that just CUTS deep to the marrow (the true beauty of sc's over hb's is on the contour of the tone's edges and that kick ass bite, and their weakness is the tendency to be a bladey, 'thin' lead tone)

2 days ago I could NOT get a decent crunch outta of this set-up, but then I tweaked the Tim and VOILA!

I make no distinction between bad tone and good tone . . . so I'm having a bit of trouble relating to your problem
