Bale is a cool actor, usually does something wioth whatever he has...I loved him in American Psycho. The trailer looks hot for Batman...you know, that franchise could have been just so much better...there are elements in all of the films that are just great, and then other parts just wretched...Mr Freeze? ug. Nickolson too over the top. too much devito and max and not enuf catwoman..blah blah blah. cool sets.

Bale was great in Equilibrium too, unfortunate the film itself couldn't keep up. In Bat2 Devito was too gross to watch much of the time.

If an 89 year old man(my grandfather) could appreciate an actor from today, I'd say he stands out.
