I don't know about the inputs, but those Rola Celestions are pretty sweet.

I've got them in the 800 I picked up this last week.

I really like the sound of it with my other 800 combo in stereo. The new one actually sounds a little more Fender-ish when compared with my Twin and my 6550 equipped 800...but when it's pushed it chunks like a Marshall...no question about it. It's a damn sweet amp.
