I am thinking a wah pedal may be the ticket?...a used vox v847 modded to TB? only $95 left...

thing is...I dont like the 'wah' sound, so do I buy him something I will hate, but he will love?...after all, it isnt THAT selfish of me considering I mostly jam with him these days...but he needs a modulation effect of some sort..for $95...ideas?

also, do you think a 'booster' b 4 the DM4 is toneally functional?...I have heard/read that digital units dont always like analog boosters in front of them...I've only used a DM4 at a guitar store, so I dunno...he plays in a Crate ss amp, fyi...(horrible yes)

(and Ty, dont say buy him a Fender Blues Jr!!!!! tho I SERIOUSLY considered it...too late tho...)
