elwoodio is/was always better at doing everything you do and faster at it too. "You" meaning anyone he came into contact with.
The thing is, that's a pretty hard thing to come to grips with...espesically when it's brought up everyday. Then he'd ask you for help just so he could rant on and on about how worthless you are at helping him.
Elwoodio was/Is a popular guy and will probably be for most of his life....he's got good looks and ain't bashfull at all. It's the ego that's the crusher. That and the ever so unpopular ABUSE of popularity that most of these types fall victum to. Leaving his clusters of friends stunned, confused, scarred and dumped like yesterdays trash.
If I saw him again, I'm sure I could pick up right where we left off. Me being the slimey turd and him being the gaping ASSHOLE.

Yeah...that pretty much nails it. I never came face to face with the whole "elwoodio is/was always better at doing everything you do and faster at it too" thing, but I don't doubt it went on. You left out his paranoia though...although it always seemed more like a faux-paranoia that he used as a tool he used to drive a wedge between him and the people who cared about him in order to get himself out of uncomfortable situations (i.e. any situation that either got "too comfortable" for him or too personal). I know he's out there and he is taking care of himself. It's what he does best. He came, he went...not much more to say than that.
