I thought a couple parts in this movie were stupid.Like the stupid rave scene and the part where that guys girlfriend is giveing him a hard time about haveing to save the universe only to serve her whims...Ty?

I have to be honest...I was terribly disappointed by The Matrix Reloaded. I had heard the bad reviews and prepared myself for the worst...I should have set my expectations a little lower.

A couple of beefs...

1) Clearly even when humanity is on the brink of destruction and forced to live thousands of miles under the earth's surface...it extremely important to look hip (inside The Matrix is one thing...but in the real world, which is supposed to be desolate and fucked up, who would bother wearing fancy duds?). Also...you live in a cave...the sky has been blackened to keep the robots from using solar power to charge themselves...so what the fuck us up with the sunglasses (again...in The Matrix it's fine...but in a cave? Even Corry Hart would be rolling in his grave if he were dead).

2) What does one do when your city, which contains the last shred of free human society, is 36 hours from complete and total annihilation by giant robots?...Why throw a giant, cheesy, techno-dance orgy of course.

3) One word...Superman.

4) I have never been one for sex scenes...I think they are a cheap shot. If I want sex scenes, I'll rent Ordinary Peepholes, or Star Whores Episode 1: The Phantom *****. The sex scene in The Matrix Reloaded was so completely unnecessary...and if you are going to show one...go all the way and show a little pink for fuck sake.

On top of that we had this dumb ass bitch sitting behind us yelling at the top of her lungs "You go Jada!" and punctuating every single explosion, punch and kick with "Oh Yeah!", "Did you see that?", "That's what I'm talking about!" and "Whoa!"

Hopefully the third one won't be as lame as Reloaded.

Oh well.
