...has to be "Spiders" by the Vapors. Could have been on any of Bowie's late 70's albums and not only would listeners not realize the difference, it would be one of the better tracks on the album.

wicked Bowie-esque..they did a cover once of one of his tunes, and I swear, when the singer rolled his eyeballs back into his sockets..I mean, WAY back!...he looked a little like someone who might have been onstage with someone who was covering a Bowie tune...
