Three possiblities for this movie.
1. It will suck even more than the other two. This is frankly hard to believe.It may not even be possible. 2. It will suck the same amount as the other two. 3. It will suck slightly less than the other two. Since the other two sucked more than it anybody thought it was possible to suck, this would still allow the new episode to really, really, really suck.  |

Hot damn- looks like redemption for the last 2 films perhaps? Not getting my hopes too up (the last 2 had great trailers too), but if there was one pivotal movie in the 6, with the potential to be a fantastic story WITH plenty of action, this is the one. Let's hope Lucas doesn't fu*k it up.

Umm... zippers on the back of Ewok outfits. Aliens whose mouths don't move on their rubber masks. Editing artifacts all over flying spaceships. Hooray for the original trilogy.
I think we can look past the effects and hope that it's a good story and put together well. Yea, I saw Star Wars in the theater when it 1st came out (1978? 1979?) and it was completely awesome. But it wasn't because of the effects. That's what Lucas seems to have forgotten. Nobody would be bitching about a CGI Yoda if the story, dialogue, and acting were excellent. -Ben |

The dialogue and acting in the first trilogy were pretty fucking pathetic. The story was stolen. Yet somehow it was great. Hmmm. |
