I pulled this little jem from the Ninja "BANNED" thread. Phil straight up lies about me Googling Lee's info, lies about me "attacking" Lee (as if by posting a link to her own words is somehow an attack) and then proceeds to use those lies and a supposed "attempt to undermine Lee's authority" as justification for my being banned.

Just as Lee's own words in other forums about various HC members speak volumes about what's going on at HC right now, so do Phil's words below.

I banned Ty. He was banned for making a personal attack on a moderator as one of his very first posts after coming back from a banning / cooling off period he was placed on for various other rules violations - including attacks on moderators.

This is total bullshit. I made no personal attack. In fact I was very careful to make sure that my post contained no direct criticisms of Lee...they were directed at the mods as a whole and simply asked people to read the posts Lee had made about HC on another forum and judge for themselves.

He Googled Lee and found her making posts on another forum agreeing with other's comments about SOME troublemaker posters here on HC, while simultaneously stating that there were a lot of GOOD and bright people here

This is an out and out lie. I didn't "Google" Lee's name...in fact I didn't search for her at all. I was PM'd a link to said forum by another forumite (and assuming Phil hasn't completely deleted my account information, said PM should still be in my Inbox). Of course the "internet stalker" image Phil is trying to create here is just another pathetic example of how the mods on Harmony Central use half truths and lies as a smoke screen to mask their agenda (which Lee clearly outlined in her post on that other forum).

Also the whole "Lee made comments about SOME troublemakers and praised the 'good' people at HC" B.S. is simply precious. It also underscores the mod's bias and the favoritism they show the numerous suck-ups there who violate forum rules regularly and never get banned for it. But of course, if you ask the mods, they will insist that such a bias does not exist. I suppose if you don't read their other posts and completely disregard their actions one MIGHT be persuaded to believe this to be true.

IOW, that thread didn't make Lee "look bad", but the fact that Ty was intentionally stalking her and trying to undermine her authority here - right after being allowed back, was not very smart on his part if he wanted to continue to participate.

That pretty much says it all right there. He uses a completely false (and possibly slanderous) accusation AND my "undermining her (Lee's) authority" to justify my banning. In other words...disagree with how they exercise their "authority" and you get banned.
Shit, Phil...you proved my point better than I ever could. I guess I owe you a debt of thanks.

The HC mods are a bunch of (f)liers and control freaks who are way too trigger happy for their own good. When all that remains is Lee fLiar and her Brown Nose/Shirt Nazi Posse, what will become of Harmony Central? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Even if I could come back, I don't think I'd want to at this point. I think more and more people will feel that way as time goes on. Maybe they'll come here...maybe not.

I think this forum could easily become like OJ of old. It's not the total chaos fest that THE Open Jam became and it's not regulated the way HC is these days.

All it takes is enough people saying they've had enough.

Count the total # of posts here in the past 3-4 days. It'll never be like HC, where people actually have running conversations. Too bad.

PS, I was banned for saying I got Mandingo on DVD for Kwanzaa.

Phil & I had had a pretty amiable relationship in the past. After that diatribe, and its damage to my tender little sensibilities, it'll never be the same.

The mods are out of control. They don't like their "authority" discussed or debated (or as they like to put it...questioned).

The mods should be there to make sure nothing illegal goes on or anything that they may be held liable for. That's about it.

If they can't detach their egos from their moderator duties, they shouldn't participate in forum discussions and if they can't handle that, they should resign as moderators.

In any case, Anderton should allow me to state my case to him directly so this can be resolved and reactivate my account. Going through Phil is just going to give Anderton a sanitized and pro mod version of the truth.

The fact is, I followed the posted forum rules to a "T" when I made my return posts after my "cooling off period". The truth was, they didn't like what was being said despite the fact that letter of the law was followed and Phil banned me.

Nothing I posted remotely violated the terms of my ageement for my return or the forum rules.

And of course, if Phil was truly the stand-up guy that he claims to be, he would go into my PM inbox on HC and find the proof that I did not Google Lee's information and make a public apology for the slanderous accusations he made and re-activate my account himself.

Of course that will never happen so Anderton is the guy to deal with.

But as I said...I don't know that I would even want to go back. HC has become a real shithole.

Even the effects forum...the most stable and forum on that board, is up in arms about the new policies and the mod's itchy trigger fingers...THE EFFECTS FORUM!

Dude...the mods have ruined HC. It was like a home away from home to me. Now, it's like a remake of One Flew Over The Cucoo's Nest.

Anyway, I miss you too man. We're going to be doing a 3 week Northwest/Southwest tour in May and we'll be back in So Cal for it. If we end up with some shows in So Cal before that we may catch you sooner. Plus we're doing a 6 week US tour in September/October which will have us back in your neck of the woods again.
