I just finished a chapter last night! woohoo! I am wandering around in Act 2-ish.

It's kinda hard to know how long exactly this is going to turn out, because I don't have a perfect map of this in my mind, which is part of the fun: I know the turn of events that's gonna occur but the way this is written, the readers are supposed to be figuring things out at the same time and pacing as the main character, so... the main character and the reader will figure out what the heck's goin on at about the 2/3rds mark of Act 2... how long it'll take me to get there, I haven't the slightest. Maybe another 20-30 pages.

Actually it's kinda funny you should say that: since I've read every Chuck Palahniuk novel written, I've noticed a lot of little Palahniukisms in my writing.
