my pedalboard crapped out on me (now it works again)..so I ponied up the $ for a Dunlop DC Brick, which is similiar to a Pedalpower by Voodoo Labs, (but NOT a fully regulated/dedicated power supply)..and so I hooks it up...man, all this hiss and buzzin and just noise was gone!Eek

I musta been playin' with a sheet of mud on top of my most excellent wet ass blood fart tone...now, it's 'crystaline' wet ass blood fart tone (WABFT henforth)...

honestly, I was REALLY shocked! I mean...c'mon now -- maybe I gotta rethink this cable shit I think!Confused

I was shocked I tell ya SHOCKED!!!!Big Grin

As a drummer, this makes me glad that my art does not depend on electricity

It makes a huge difference. Mark and Sean noticed it right away when they switched from the Electar boards to Dunlop DC Brick power supplies.

And yes...you should rethink the cable thing (and how you connect your pedals) as cheap cables will kill your tone.

George L's will make a noticable improvement in your overall tone AND they are not that much more expensive than the cheap cables you use...and you can use only what you need without a bunch of extra cable length.

Wow...you make a solderless cable? Because if you don't, it's not better.

If you've ever had a cable crap out on you at a gig, you learn to really appreciate a solderless connection...not to mention the sound quality easily compares to any of the high end cables on the market.

And while it can be difficult at times to get George L cables locally, I would imagine it's easier than purchasing cables from you. Big Grin

Yeah, I got 2 George L's 10ft and they are the

best cables I have used. I have had Rapco,

Ernie Ball, Monster, and Planet Waves.

These really have less noise and that makes

me enjoy practice alot more. They are worth it

in that they dont cost but like 1 buck or 2

more.

Yeah...tube amps are SOOOOOO natural. Next time I'm out buying my granola and patchuli I'll make a point of stopping by the amp tree and pluck some freshly picked amps. They're in season you know. Roll Eyes

Yes...and all painters should just draw with a pencil and a sketch pad and toss their paints and brushes...no point in having to deal with all those shitty colors. Roll Eyes

Dude...with that attitude why do you even bother playing an electric guitar? Be a "real" guitarist and play acoustic only.

Or why bother with all that shit? Just get yourself a rock and beat it with a stick.

Or better still...just clap your hands. Afterall, only hand clappers are true natural musicians. Roll Eyes
