...and it worked great. I used it on one overdriven part in conjunction with my Analog Man Clone Chorus set to a fast speed to get me a really nice Leslie effect ala Badfinger and it nailed it. I couldn't have done it with the Line 6's Univibe model (and there's no way the Leslie model would have cut it).
The more I use the Micro Vibe the more impressed I am with it. I can't believe it was as cheap as it was. I also sold my Line 6 delay pedal on Sunday and I picked up a Boss DD-20 Giga-delay and I am super happy with it. It doesn't have all the crazy stuff the Line 6 had but it does have a few cool unique features that the DL-4 didn't. The bottom line is it just sounds better. It's a more full bodied sound and it doesn't drop your volume when you engage it. And a buddy of mine at Guitar Center gave me a sweet deal of $175 for it (they retail at $299 with a street price of $229)...which was less than what I sold the Line 6 delay for. All in all I am extremely pleased with both of these pedals. I can't wait for my Voodoo Lab Tremolo to arrive this week. ------------------------ There once was a man who swallowed a fly... |

well...I will listen to one before I jump...they go for 149 brand spankin' new, so 120 aint THAT big a savings, esp. on something I am uncertain I want...but I DO appreciate the heads up...
I must do my necessary '1 month consideration' phase, as silly as that may seem I figure I can get one for 80-95 bucks, no problemo...in the next month. used voodoo has limited mark up it seems (except the pedalpower..) |

quote: Don't be so sure about that...they usually go up higher than $95 on e-Bay. I've only seen one with a Buy It Now on e-Bay of $98 plus $10 shipping and it got snatched up before I could bid on it. The going price is usually $110 plus shipping. I would be surprised if you could find one for $80 that wasn't beat to shit. ------------------------ There once was a man who swallowed a fly... |
