Supposedly the Prescription Electronics "Throb" pedal is based on that pedal but it's smaller, sturdier, sounds better and has two speeds you can footswitch between.

There's lots of good trems out there that will do the job.

I have heard Gilmour uses the Demeter Temulator.

I have never experience a trem that gets as

choppy as his was on that song.

Seriously does anyone know what he used?

people say nice things about the Demeiter trembulator..whatever...also consider that PF did alot of post-recording manipulation, so they could have gotten that effect more effected after Gilmore laid it down..it's a pretty tight trem sound that Ive never heard outta a pedal

The choppiest trem I have ever heard is the Boss TR-2. It's not my first pick for tone but it chops like nothing else.

Its probably like oakland said. . .studio trick

Studio tricks rule. If I played guitar, I'd run the signal into a laptop, use effects in Cubase, and then out to an amp. Fuck this pedal bullshit.
