DAMN those were some nice amps. I played a Victoria before and it was great, but this model was really sweet.
I'm going to have to add a couple of Bad Cats, a Victoria and a couple of Dr. Z's to my collection. No more reissue stuff for me. I can't believe an amp can sound so damn good.
I've got some pretty great sounding amps in my collection, but the amps I played on Saturday are on a completely different level sonically.
Unfortunately they aren't cheap.

No...I "Oakland" was talking about Soldano's and Bogners...multi channel, high gain, PC board suck fests that cost a lot of dough (sorry...I can't see paying more than $1200 for any PC board amp no matter how good it sounds...you just can't justify the cost).
Dr. Z, Bad Cat and Victoria are in a completely different class.

My collection's OK...but I will prolly end up adding some really sweet amps to it. As it is, there pretty much isn't any sound I can't get (with the possible exception of the 6V6 Deluxe Reverb sound, but...I can always drop some 6V6's in my Emery Sound amp and use an EQ pedal which pretty much nails that tone). I think I would like some amps that get more refined versions of the tones I already get.
Out of the 8 guitar amps I have, I could easily cut that number down to 4 or 5 with the amps I played last weekend.

(bangs head on keyboard) Dude, I have two amps. A broken Crate gxc120 with a stereo 4x12 cab and a cheaser paper weight amp made by Yamaha (15 watt). oh wait I do have one of those cig pack amps. Mighty mighty tome it has, it does!!!!
