I really liked their first album. I even went to a Megadeth show because they were opening (I even had to sit through Flotsam and Jetsam). Second album was just okay and I never bought any of their next ones. But a friend played their newest for me, and I actually dig it.

Their first album rules. Excellent guitar tone. Lotta good production, I think.

I'm kinda partial to the Tool stuff and not so much the Korn. Although they're both great bands and make excellent tunage, I like Tool. I only heard Korns first two cd's. I went to one of their shows in OC around 93 or so and they really stank. But who knows.

I have all their albums except the new one.

I heard that one song Typo said on the radio

and didnt like it. But the other one he said

(off one of the albums I have) Untouchables is

good. Tool have a couple good songs. . .I

downloaded all their albums but they really

arent that good. Not like revolutionaries or

the like as some seem to think. Korn though

have a few solid albums under their belt.

Not to mention Tool has terribly "lets make this

sound really deep and poetic" lyrics that come

off sounding like a teenage goth girl wrote

them. Pretentious as hell for what they are.

"On the Moon, nerds get their pants pulled down and they are spanked with Moonrocks."

I've always had mixed feelings about Tool. I respect them and I like the one album of theirs that I have... but I don't think I've listened to it in years. I like their drummer just 'cause no matter how many times I listen to some songs, I still don't understand quite what he's doing. I suppose I haven't heard enough Tool to have an opinion on them. I really love some of their songs. Parabola is a great song. Sober and Prison Sex are damn good songs. That's probably all the songs of theirs that I can name.
