The new Bonnie Raitt (Souls Alike) has a tune called "God Was In The Water". The intro guitar uses a leslie type effect that's killing me!!!! Can anyone say if this is some combination of UniVibe/Trem/Vibrato/Chorus/Flange or mostly one effect?

I've got my answer.
George Marinelli, the guitarist on this album (and a member of Bonnie Raitt's band) kindly returned my email "guitar geek" inquiry.
He said "...sound-wise, no big secret, i ran thru a leslie. there's the main part which plays that repetive riff, then an overdubbed wah-wah part, which if i remember correctly, also went thru the leslie..."
Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that this great "leslie type efffect" is a real leslie, played by a great guitarist.
